Who we are
We're Isay and Nath, a couple who has been living in Playa del Carmen and Riviera Maya for years. What started as a social media project to share what we see every week turned into a community of over 15 thousand people who trust our recommendations.
Today Dónde Ir Playa covers three fronts: curated tours for travelers, a food guide of the best places to eat, and marketing and content creation services for local businesses we admire.
How we choose
Every tour, restaurant or client we work with passes the same filter: would we recommend it to a friend? If the answer isn't a clear yes, it doesn't appear here. That's why you'll find 10 well-curated tours, not 100 mediocre ones. And that's why we only work with businesses we believe in.
Truly local
We live here. We know the operators, the waiters, the guides. What we recommend we know from the inside.
No weird middlemen
Direct booking and contact via WhatsApp. You talk to us, not a call center. If something changes, we let you know instantly.
Total honesty
If we didn't like something, we tell you. If there's a similar tour that's cheaper and better, we recommend that one. Period.
